Our Story
The Marigold Cafe is our dream come true. We are so thrilled to live and work in this community! We have spent our working careers in the hospitality industry; Ryan as a respected Red Seal Executive Chef with 20 year’s experience, and Jenny with 15 year’s experience managing in hotels and cafes. Someday you may also meet our newest sous-chef, baby Will, who just joined our family in April 2020.
You’ll find our cafe to be a pleasant place to gather, a warm space to relax and refuel.
Our unique location in the new Marigold Lands Development on the Lochside Trail, is conveniently situated to serve Marigold Lands residents, Lochside Trail users, and all of Greater-Victoria’s residents and visitors.
Bike Parking and the Dero Fixit Bike Repair and Water Bottle Refill Stations, are complimentary on-site services provided for your support and convenience. https://www.dero.com/product/fixit/
Join us Monday – Sunday from 8:00am – 4:00pm, where you will find gourmet food & beverages – locally sourced, and prepared fresh daily. Eat in-house, on the go, or take our goodies home. Arrive by bike, foot, or car to enjoy a specialty coffee and a light meal, in our warm, industrial-inspired interior, or our outdoor covered patio overlooking a beautiful garden and water feature.
Safe practises are in place for your protection with social distancing, careful sanitation of eating areas, food preparation, staff health, and serving protocols.

Allow our chef to tantalize your tastebuds with his freshly made sandwiches. Daily sandwiches include Turkey Bacon, Smoked Chicken, Poached Pear & Brie, and Ham & Swiss. Look out for his feature sandwiches as well! All of our sandwiches are even more amazing when grilled on our panini press! Come try one today!
